gas tank

Post by rbcyouthdude »

Anybody know of a gas tank like the one behind the seat that holds more fuel? I want to move mine into the bed but would like more gallans, say 30 or so. I want to get one out of a wrecking yard if possible to keep cost down.

well the mustang tank that skip did is 22g I think and the bronko tank is about the same.

You could put a toolbox/tank combo in the bed and have just about any size up to 60g.

check out the mustang tank here

FORDMANLCRACKEL built one from scratch to fit between his framerails and put the fillerneck in a compartment acessed through his bed wall in the rear. Looks pretty sharp!

I really wanted to put it in the front of the bed. I saw where a guy took his out of the cab turned it to where the filler was on the passanger side and mounted it there and built a protector around it. I will also put a toolbox in behind mine. Just wanted the same type of tank that held around 30-35 gallons.
