Slick 60's

Jim (my son) says "want to go get a metal roller with me ?"
Ok...
"we will have to take the old F350.... not sure how long it is"
Tunner is sitting there waiting patiently
Haven't moved it for about 2 weeks
So we hop in & take off
He telling me where to turn with help of his GPS phone...
Finally get there ... 13.5' feet long ...
get it loaded , not terrible heavy maybe a 1000# total
Then he also gets a 8' foot long I-beam ...
We take it to the school he teaches at & unloaded
115 mile round trip without a hiccup
No radio & about 45 mph
Made for a lot of good father & son talking ....
I did most of the listening

You take times like that whenever you can get them. The older they get the busier they are.

Years ago I read some advice about raising kids
It said to listen to them , no matter what they want to talk about
I think it's probably the best advice I actually ever paid attention to

Pat I love it when I see our slick trucks hard work, just shows old dogs never die just work harder and with new tricks

Driving by fresh mowed alfalfa field
No radio to pester with
