Hey guys. I picked up some 95 f150 bucket seats for my 64. Turns out I gotta ditch the in cab tank, which I wanted to do anyway. Problem is I have zero interest in using the bed floor for a filler door location. I want to fill it up through the outer bedside like a modern truck. What tanks and necks have you guys used? I assume I need to cut out the neck bulge wells out of an late 70s-90s bed floor.

Rooster did this on his tan and brown slick, he live s up in jersey where I used to live. His was hidden in the inside of bed but in the wheel well if I remember correctly. His frame was 70’s f100 I think..

are you saying the fuel door is on the inside of the bed? I am needing a set up that has a fuel door in on the outer bedside like a modern truck.

here is what we sold our Ups Driver,, Mustang Tank, then relocated the filler neck to go with the 77/79 Ford Truck Door and filler tube to a matched hose,, I myself used something similar on a 56 Panel but for the door I used a 95 Body Style T-Bird which was round, used the switch and button so all I did was to push the button to open the gas door

Thanks April, On the green bed I used a tank made for 49/51 Chevy I think on the tan truck it is on 75 frame so I used a stock tank and piped it with 2" EMT conduit 90s
