Need Positive 1968 F600 Transmission Identification Help
I believe this is a NP420 4 speed transmission. I can't get a sixth shift out of it and the C95711 number points to a few post on FTE that say it might be a NP420.

If you can give me the transmission code off the VIN plate I can ID it for you.

Michelle, I appreciate the offer but do not have the truck or vin. 3rd gear is 1.75:1 and 4th is 1:1. I wanted to know what it is when I core it out.Michelle wrote:If you can give me the transmission code off the VIN plate I can ID it for you.

Too old for this core recycler so I robbed the input shaft and PTO and will be sending it off for scrap.

Didn't Have To Throw Away The Generators After All
I had 8 Ford and Lincoln generators that cored out for $6 each. Glad they were able to be reused.
