1964 F100 Patina Pro-Tour Project Build

Got a rockin' deal on a 1964 F100 that was a project left undone by a guy who didn't have enough time to finish. The truck came with a recently rebuilt 302, a C4 tranny and partially mocked up Crown Vic front end. Small amount of rust in the floor, but less than what I've seen before. The plan now is to get it street worthy and then start working towards making a patina'd pro-tour driver. Probably a year long project - we'll see - here we go!

Dropped off at the fabricator to permanently install the Crown Vic front end and install the engine.

Welded up the front fenders. Needed to provide extra room for wider Crown Vic turning radius

I like what you've done so far. The fab shop did a nice job on the install.

Nice! The Fender Treatment is fantastic! That's a great idea.

Very clever mod on those front fenders. Will look similar to
fenders on an F600 but more suttle. Should be cool when done.
Like where you are going on this. What was done to lower it in back?
Axle flip? TR

I've decided to call it a "Rust O Mod". Over the next few months I'm gonna slap some "lipstick on this pig" and continue to the back of the truck with the Boxwood Green. I'll clear coat as much of the rust as I can keep the patina. Add some sound proofing and weatherstripping. The 302 and C4 run great! I'm adding a Gennie floor shifter. Then I'm saving up for some Ride Tech Coil Overs for the Crown Vic suspension up front (the cut springs up front ride too rough) Right now the rear is flipped with a leaf taken out, but eventually I'm switching the rear out for a Fat Bar 4 link with coil overs by No Limit. I'm running 245/35-20's on late model rims for a Mustang.
Should have some update pics in a couple weeks
