Re: WHEELS
Wheels Vintique makes stock looking wheels in many widths but they are kind of known for only fitting their caps so watch out for that.
Wheel Smith can widen stock wheels to the width and offset you want. About the same cost as new wheels.
Yu can buy wheel shells and put your stock centers in them. It just depends on the inner diameter of the shells and the outer diameter of your wheel center sections. I have done this and it's actually not too bad to do and how many guys get to say they mad their own wheels? Speedway Motors used to sell shells.
Go on the HAMB, there are a lot of wheel threads on there.
Good luck,

Re: WHEELS
IVE GOT THE FACTORY WHEELS I MAY JUST ORDER WHEEL SPACERS I JUST THINK IT MAKES THE TRUCK LOOK TO SKINNY LOL
Re: WHEELS
Got the same issue with the rear of mine. Even ordered different offsets when I bought them but could still stand to go out another inch or so to look "right". I'm looking at some billet spacers to move mine out but going to wait until I have the 4 bar under it and the rearend moved forward 1.75" (to make the wheel sit right in the opening) before ordering.

Re: WHEELS
A nice look is to leave the stock 15x5.5s on the front and go with 15x8s on the rear. That will even out the track and fill out the rear wheel wells.
Of course you will not be able to rotate them.
Summit carries them.

Re: WHEELS
Stock 15 x 6 on the front, but I knocked the rivets out and punched out the center of the wheel and reversed them to get the offset or backspacing I wanted. I then bought two 15 x 8 stock wheels from Summit for the rear, they were Wheel Vintiques for around $75 each. My '64 looked strange to me with the original wheels on it...they were way back under the wheel wells. In my opinion they look much better with about 2 1/2 backspacing....
Here's a pic of my original wheels...one before and the other is after...

A pic of the fronts after installation...I hadn't put the 15 x 8's on the rear yet...

Good luck on your search, the right wheel tire combo does make the truck...

Re: WHEELS
How did you reassemble the wheels after knocking the rivets out?
I just gave a set of riveted wheels away, they were 1950s vintage and I didn't want to run them.

Re: WHEELS
Wheel Vintiques Series 14 wheels are "innies" and will fit factory or repop bottle caps and are available in various widths and diameters. I also discovered along the way that the center "innie" section on the Series 14 is deep enough to allow bottlecaps to fit on disc brake spindles. I used to have pics demonstrating the difference but can't find them right now. Wheel Vintiques are available thru Summit Racing & Jegs with free shipping over $99.
