I would like gray and something that will last and will take the heat. Has anyone had good results? And I can't use my wife's oven to cure it. Don't ask why. Thanks, Tom

I've used the brush-on stainless steel colored stuff from Eastwoods years ago and it kept it's color pretty well. Sandblasted first then I used a foam brush.

Without going into detail, I second "can't use wife's oven" sentiment. Guess it's all part of the overall "pick your battles" strategy around here.
I also have been pleased with the results from Eastwood's spray-on "cast iron" finish. Haven't checked availability in years, though!

I have also used this product. Seams to hold up well and look good years later. A little bit of the product goes a long way. I worked the stuff into a set of exhaust manifolds with an acid brush.

I used the cast iron spray finish and love the look.

If cost isn`t a problem, what about ceramic coating them with Jet-Hot....

I was talking to a powder coater the other day and he can powder coat cast iron manifolds. He won't do headers because they expand/contract too much but he would/does do cast iron exhaust manifolds. He had a nice steel color.

Calyx from Eastwood is the best we've used. I used a stainless brush to clean the manifold on my '51 8N tractor and then coated it with Calyx. It lasted two years before needing to be touched up. That's on an open-hooded tractor that's parked in an open shed, it'll last longer on a truck. Also used it on a '65 C10 that's been finished about three years and it still looks great.
