NO PARK LIGHTS,TAIL LIGHTS,DASH LIGHTS!!

I am HOPING that all it is, is the headlight switch. They were working on day and the next day, they worked for about 5 minutes then went off and haven't worked since. Anyone have any other ideas??

the park/tail lights and instrument lights are on fuses in a small panel under the dash, integral with the headlight switch, check those first

Headlight switch gets power and distributes it to the various circuits you describe. Since all this happened at once I'd suspect the switch. To remove the headlight switch, reach up under the dash and feel on the bottom of the switch for a small button. Push this button while gently pulling the switch button out (like you are turning on the lights). Once the button and stalk are out of the way the bezel will unscrew and you can drop the switch with wiring attached down so you can have a look at it. Separate the rubber plug with all the wires attached from the switch. Look for dark and discolored connectors. Just pulling the switch out for a look can often disclose the culprit. New switches are available and a good investment. Use plenty of bulb grease on reassembly. IMHO.

What Mac said! Check the15 amp common fuse. If the failure repeats, then it is time to look for a wiring cause, which is often the overhead light circuit or the rheostat in the switch.

well guys, he found the problem and it was the 15a fuse... he is back up and on the road...
