Slick 60's

Hello everyone, wondering if there would be any interest of holding a swap meet and gathering of our Slick 60's members this year in grand Rapids, Michigan. We have a Large parking area and shop on the North end of Grand Rapids, on Plainfield avenue and also on the south end of Grand Rapids, on 29th Street and Breton.
If there would be any interest in meeting other Slick owners and possibly buying or selling a few old Ford parts, I could put something together with the other car & truck shows held here in Grand Rapids, and hold it the same day so that no matter who comes with you they would all enjoy the show... You might get more action posting on the Facebook slick page. It seems to be quite a bit more active than here anymore.

I'm in N.W. Ohio and think it would be a great idea, but not sure I could make it, but would be willing to try. I'm not on facebook and won't be. Let us know.

I'd be interested. I live about 20 minutes from GR.

Ive been to it many times with my fride but I was mad it was 5 dollar admission this year and didnt go. Let me know if you get down to holland where I live and we can meet up

Nothing like that down here, as far as i know. But i am planning on making the 2014 F-100 Super Nationals in Tennessee.

I'd be interested for sure, if I don't have to work that day. I live in Ionia, but work in GR. Sounds like fun!

We are about an hour and a half south of GR. We would be interested in that if it came true. Like they said, keep us posted. We are going to be at this year's F100 nationals in Pigeon Forge next weekend also Jeff. I think you were the one who had something in a different post about being down there this year as well. We will be looking for any Michigan Slicks.

Okay will do..... I just thought it would be nice to join in on one of the events already being held here in Grand Rapids, and I would make a spot at one of our shops to meet the Slick 60's people. I think it would be pretty neat to see some of the Slick 60 trucks there.
