Ya can't fix stupid but that truck is an easy restore. If it was closer...... Still looking for a unrestored or screwed with short, BBW, FordOmatic Unibody with a 292.

That's only the second one of those steering wheels I've ever seen. What's the story on those? Years available, correct nomenclature (besides steering wheel)!

61-66 f250 4x4,f350 and f500
61-65 f100 4x4
its also a bigger diameter wheel than the 3 spoke found on the f100 and f250 2wd (and the 66 f100 4x4)

also has either a horn button or the chrome ring shown in the pic

at some point the bigger trucks went to a big 3 spoke wheel, not sure when but was one in my 66 b700 bus

heres the 63 medium duty brochure, pretty easy to see the top pic of the f500 has the 4 but then later down you see the 3 spoke.

I would purposely let my engine burn a lot of oil with that set-up!

I have the 4 spoke wheel if someone is interested it came out of a 64 F350 The horn ring is different.

possible that he deals with flammable liquids in the bed...tractor refueling maybee? .
I see this type of thing with fuel trucks at the airport. (althougt they just have the exhaust exiting under the front bumper)

At least his fabrication skills on the exhaust brackets that are mounted on the bumper are top notch! :roll:
If it cain't be fixed with a sledge hammer it must be an electrical problem!
