my buddy donnie is itching for a slick again so we went and looked at a 66 f250 this evening. guy wants 500 and donnie is holding out for 400$. they are at a standstill right now.
it is very rough. will need lots of work and tlc, but!
rust free cab. mounts, drip rails and rockers along with all the bolsters and rear cab corners are good. floors are good. inner fenders are rust free. core support is rust free.
in bed tool box is rust free and has a working door latch and lock.
it is a custom cab and has all the over door trim and door panel trim.
the bed is rust free, but has been notched in the front corners for a headache rack.
no hood lip rust, but the famous crease in the center.
no seat.
garage door sized hole for a radio.
it has a transplanted 351 and fmx out of an early seventies fairlane (supposed).
i dunno, i could watch this one walk away, but it does have some good parts if he decided not to build it.
i didn't get any pics, but if he buys it i will take lots. i think it is worth 400 easy, but if parted wouldn't yield too much more than that.
