Will 66 Mustang exterior door handles work on my 66 CC?
They run less than 1/2 what F100 pieces run.
CJ Pony parts list the same p/n for 66 Mustang handles as they do for 66 Bronco handles.
How about clutch, brake, and gas pedal rubbers?
Are ther any other common parts that might swap?

Re: Im trying to save some cash
wanting to save money is good but be careful as buying poor quality repops is wasting $ as you will be unhappy and they will not last or work/fit correctly.
there are some things that fit from other fords
armrests are the same as falcon/comet
pedal pads from other applications may work
there are a few other things but they are very limited

Re: Im trying to save some cash
There is a cool brake pedal pad for the Mustang that has a stainless steel disc on it that says disc brakes. That would be cool.
It looks like the Mustang cigar lighter bezel is the same, but no one sells one for a F100.
I want to find out if the Mustang steering wheel will fit. $190 for a Rangoon Red one.
34.99 for a set of Mustang interior door/window handles.

Re: Im trying to save some cash
the mustang interior handles will fit because the spline is the same but i do not know how they are held on the spline
the steering wheel should fit too
on the lighter used in the slicks the knob/bezel is part of the lighter.
if the mustang brake pedal is wide then the pad will not work. if its the same width as the mustang clutch pedal then its possible.
if you can post pics of these items it would help.

Mustang handles are clip or screw, you can buy either.

Re: Im trying to save some cash
There are quite a few versions of the Mustang door and window handles. I know of none with the original set-screw configuration; I suspect the clip type could be made to work. I don't know how they might look with a gap between door panel and handle. Might not be bad with the "washer" behind them, especially if used with CC panels.bmcgc wrote:Mustang handles are clip or screw, you can buy either.
