fast paint removal

after i put the new y block in my 66 4x4 i needed to put in some new matching gauges in the outer holes of my dash. one of the holes was too big so i found one with no holes that was painted like this
paint was in bad shape and i wanted an all chrome dash so i had to find something already on hand to get the paint off. permatex gasket remover did a wonderful job, only took about 5 minutes to get it all off. a few stubborn spots i used fine steel wool and lightly scrubbed. it came out very nice. cant post a pic of the new dash yet
