New paint for the 65

Post by norville »

Finally, I got her painted, I'm not sure If I'm keeping the slots, I may go back to white wheels and hub caps. It's a 20/20 paint job, 20mph and 20ft away.:)

I found a nice chrome grill under the blacl paint. :)

future mods are disc brakes up front.
I got a holley FI kit for it
and a 4 spd OD

Not in that order. The 6c lost 2nd.

Thanks guy's . I didn't mind yellow and it was a much better paint job, but I hated the flames and blacked out font kinda like a flaming bumble bee.

Also I neeeded to fix some rust bubbles and other issues .

Thanks for all the kind words folks. I know I could do better but, concidering it was painted in the backyard with a wagner power sparyer and I used industrial rustoleum "ford blue" it looks great. I thought about wet sanding it and clear coating it. Then I rembered I have to do a trash run this wekend and I still need 2 loads of river rock, need to get rid of the 20+ old tires in the woods. Well ya know what it 's a truck.

I still get lots of looks but it's a differnet look:)
