Maybe I didn't read far enough, but looks like a "Slick start and stop" rather than a "build".

I skipped all the BS and went to the end, there's a pic of it, so he must have finished it. Different.

I'm with Pat. I like seeing the fab work and glad he didn't cut up a real nice truck to make that.

Not much Slick left. Those Pirate guys are hard core. I'm a member there but mainly hang out on their sister site JKOwners.com.

I like it! I'm glad to be seeing different types of builds with the same type of truck. I dig the creativity and the quality of parts he is using. Good motor, axles and tube chassis. That's a lot of work into a slick or any truck!

I already know that both of my Supercabs won't be restorations...

I bet they feel the same way about some of us, Why spend so much money on a vehicle just to show it off at car shows. I personally love it, but sometimes you have to see both sides.

somewhere half way through that thread, there is some pics of an early 90's ranger with a narrowed 66 grille installed. I thought that looked alright.

Well,I made it 'bout half way through(yawn). Reminds me of an old horror movie torture chamber where the victim is slowly dismembered and then allowed to heal just enough to start the process all over again. I guess when they get done with the poor old thing,it can finally be laid to rest(crushed) :(
