Good Looking Fridge Turbo Diesel 4X4

Post by Gritsngumbo »

Not mine, just thought it was a great looking truck (even though it's blue :-)) and wanted to share.

Never did like those trucks but as a 4x4 they are very intimidating.

Very nice looking 60 model. It would be a fun truck to drive too.

Man, I love that truck. Like the 57 grill a lot more, but the way those guys built that and the fact it has been well cared for would be enough for me to buy it. Sure would come in handy right now in this evil white stuff. TR

5-slot mags! 8)

Did anyone else notice the engine is a Cummins 4BTA?
It's the 4 cylinder version of the 6BTA. It's 3.9L versus 5.9L. Sweet little diesel engine.

I'm afraid to know what the reserve is, it's already gone over $10k

Very nice truck through. I wonder what transfer case it has.

I'd own it

The 4bt is a very popular item in some of the vans, and I've heard gets very good mileage . Hove no idea on what kind of driving power it has or whether it would have any passing guts. It is one of the engines I have been contemplating as a drop in for one of my trucks. Would be great for a 4 wheel drive I would think. Prices for these engines are just as high if not higher than the bigger cummins diesels I've seen advertised.

SWEET truck, I poked around and that engine has about 105 horsepower and 265 ft lb's at 1600 rpm, great wheeling torque! Would love to hear what milage they get, a good simple engine to do a vegie conversion on! Now im thinking about looking for one for my 66 motorless f250????
