Climbing Towers
I watched the whole thing, but no way could I ever do that, not even in my younger days. Those guys SHOULD get paid well for doing that stuff. One slip up there and it's goodbye Charlie! Thinking maybe if you had a parachute like those base jumpers use would be a lot quicker way down. Pretty view from up there though. TR

I've done a little rock climbing. Nothing near that high, yet. It's one of those things that you just have to do and not think about it. You'd be amazed what can be accomplished if you don't let fear get the best of you and that's not an easy thing to do. The 1st time I went rock climbing, I looked at the cliff from the bottom and thought "there's no way." I went up and down it 3 times that day, a different route each time without slipping or falling. We used a rope for safety but it was very satisfying that I didn't need it. It was fun and I almost backed out because of fear. I'm glad I didn't.
I'd like to try to climb that tower. I might not make it but as long as I make an honest effort I am satisfied.
Here's a picture I took during that first climb. It's only about 90 feet from horizontal ground, though and at that height, I was absolutely comfortable. Before that day, if you had asked if I could do it, I probably would have said "no."

Nope! Not enough money to get me motivated to climb towers. Tried to just stand at the edge of an 80 story bank building in LA once (surveying transmitter sites for work). My knees were wobbly at 5 feet from the edge and I was just standing; can't do the high places thing!
