This is my first time writing so i would like to apologize if I ask any questions that have been asked already.
I have a 64 F100 and would like to install a 460 with c6 trans. It originally had a 352. I need help picking out what headers will fit, motor and trans mounts to use and any other advice you can provide.
I was told i would have to custom make the mounts.
Also, I will be installing an 06 crown vic front suspension if that counts for anything.
Thanks to all in advance.

The transmission mount can be moved back on the frame to suit. Just drill holes in the frame when it lines up right.
The 70's pickups had 460 engines, you can get the motor mounts and perches from one of them. The mounts bolt right up, and the perches should work, and you can modify them if needed. You will need to shorten the driveshaft, no big deal. Use an oil pan from a van, and the oil drain will be in a good place.
Good luck with the build , and post some pictures.

Thank you all for your replies. This site is great and very help with awesome members. Any other advice would be greatful.
Here are some pics of my truck. The only rust it has is on one cab corner. The rest is solid.

Some advice on posting pictures (cause we all love pictures!!!), you first have to upload to to an online site, like Photo Bucket or Smugmug, whatever easiest. Then to get them to show up in the posts you click on the "Img" box in the upper right of the edit screen then insert the URL of the picture online (by right-clicking on the on-line pic and copying the image path) then pasting that after the first "Img" then hit the "Img" button again and you should be all set.
Then hit the preview button at the bottom of the edit screen to see what it looks like and if if looks OK then hit the Submit button.
I hope this helps, since it's not very straight forward the first few times.
