Not a slick.. but kinda close
Found this sitting a couple streets over from the house, it's got 73000 original miles and one dent bigger then a quarter in the whole truck.. it's got the original headliner in good shape, original floor mat, radio delete plate.. basically for around here, it's in good shape. It's got the original 240 / 3 speed. The motors pretty gunked up and it needs new valve stem seals, so I'm gonna pull the motor this weekend and go through it. I got all the torque specs and what not, I need to know where to set the ignition timing.. & Where the two lines from the vacuum advance on the distributor run to in the carb.. It's a carter 1 barrel, there's only 4 vacuum ports on the whole thing.. Any help would be greatly appreciated, I've never owned a straight 6. I'll take some pics this weekend.. I haven't even really got to toy with it much lately do too work and getting parts together for it.

nice 70. looks like a short bed too. get your butt on over to foridfication and show that off to those guys-they'll love it. i also dd a 70, but its a long bed 302/3sp farm truck.
oh, and what i can see from the pics, it looks like a "custom" model which is what i have and it's the lowest model of that year. lol. no frills baby.
i'll bet someone over there can tell you where to hook both vacuum lines on your 1bbl.

I thought the pistons were std but it turns out they were .030 over so I'm waiting till next week to stab the motor, nothing better to do then slap some primer on it..

The guy gave me 2 gallons of ferrel calhoun white paint so it should be white in a month or so. It amazes me how straight this thing is.
