http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... 0594671680It is amazing to me how many of these there are. Several people have said some guy built 5 of them but I have seen nearly 20 so I am really beging to think they are some original conversion like the other Super and Crew cabs. There are just too many of them and they are all exactly the same so it can't be a coincidence. Hawkrod

Pretty unique redo on the tailgate. Not that it is the nicest looking , but does show another idea to think about.

It at least looks a little better in black than in gold.

I found a couple of posts about these trucks while looking for something else:
fire truck wrote:That dude, Jim Jarvis has sold a few of these trucks. IIRC he claimed to have built like four of them in his listing for one in the last couple years. I remember the listing, the truck was rust brown. The pictures were pore quality and the inside shot was him holding a little dog. I think there was a young girl in the truck with him too. Kinda weird pictures to me. This truck is close enough to be the same only a different color.

It's also in the best shape out of the three I've seen.
This guy claims that 9 of these were made, which I believe is about the same number one of our members here said, a while back.

Curiously, this one also has I-beam emblems on the fenders (along with the rest of the obvious '65 front end), like this other one had... :hm:

*EDIT* Same with this one that I forgot about...

I think it's pretty tough to beat the looks of this Uni:

While I admire the creativity, I just can't like the looks of these trucks.

Just because you CAN do something, doesn't mean it SHOULD be done.

I am confussed? That last red one has a 66 grille and a 63 valance above the grille with the 65-66 turn signals. The chrome strip stops half way on the hood.oh and its also ugly.Maybe austraila or brazil made these trucks? Its weird how they are all the same basically.I would like to find one just to take off those god awfull rear fenders might not look to bad then.

I came across this photo of an unusual slick made in Brazil and Argentina. These are in "1957 -67 Ford Pickups" by Paul McLaghlin. Good read and lots of photos.

I'd about give my left ___ for one of the swb Uni panels they made down there.
