Another header question

Manifold just cracked. Replace with repro $$$, old part or go with headers? I fear clearance and heat may be an issue with headers. I have to replace the exhaust system anyway, so I might as well take care of the new problem at the same time.

im not sure they make headers for the 4x4 with 292.
i have seen the flanges to make your own on e-bay but i think i would just take a gasket over to my friend with plasma cutter and have him do them.
you cant use the car type dual manifolds either due to the clutch z bar being in the way.
not sure if you can use the rams horns either, but they are expensive to buy at any rate.
i would offer you one of my sets of stock manifolds but i already have a cracked ear on one on my 4x4 and the spares have not been removed and checked yet for cracks or other damage.
nobody bought me rams horns for Christmas or my birthday

For Y-block headers, check with Red's Headers. Not sure if Sanderson has any headers for those. If so, Sanderson makes the best headers anywhere.

I have Sanderson short style headers on my 64 but it's 2 wheel drive.

I still have the stock cross over front style manifold but the mounting ears are broke.
