I'll be putting the GT up for sale shortly after I get home. It would be better in the hands of someone who will do more with it.

If my money situation was a little better right now, I would be on my way to Nebraska to relieve you of your burden. Almost all of my friends own at least two Mustangs, and I would love to have at least one. My other problem is I want another slick....and I have too many other projects...ok, now my head is hurting.

I offered the GT to a guy in AL today, he asked me about selling it 2 years ago. He also has a 86 GT and an 86 Saleen. Guess we'll see what happens. Now to get over a bout of depression.....................

So Greg,

Did the dude from AL buy your '85GT or do you still have it?

The Al guy fell though,
it's on CL here now and Ebay, 58 watchers and 2 bids (but the bids are low).
Got one email - better offer than AL.
Talked to another guy yesterday;
He had one just like it that got totaled last year.
This guy just loved his car. He is looking for a replacement. He is 6 hours away from here but his Son is less than an hour and is going to come look at it. He can't meet my asking price but he is real close to it so I told him "At that figure you and I have something to talk about." We discussed some payment options which are acceptable and safe for both of us. Considering how much this guy loved the one he had, the car would have a very good home - this pleases me also.

I just sold her to the guy in my previous post - pending payment which is sending tomorrow.
Had 68 watchers at the time I ended the auction.

I wouldn't have these old car & truck dilemmas if I would keep my fooking arse off of Ebay and CL.
But coming here for help with that is like going to a bar to ask for help quitting drinking.

A little of the $ will acquire some needed Uni stuff. Some bags for my bike. The rest will go in the bank.

She went to a good home which is good.
Still crapped my day watching her drive off though.
At least it's over - having the car for sale was like being bipolar for the last few weeks.
I could swear the Uni is grinning sitting over across the street, this will get her the T-5 installed and a new engine. This is good cause the Uni has started to smoke pretty bad in the last couple weeks.

Here is the funny part.
1 Mustang gone so now I am getting defensive about selling the vert (which has been for sale longer), because I would have NO Mustang then. The kicker - I sold the way better of the 2 cars. The vert is a nice solid car but needs a ton of little crap. I at least did keep the one I actually drive though. I haven't put 50 miles on the GT in the last 12 months. I had the car for 2 years and a little over 2 months, I put about 900 miles total on it - over 700 were just getting it home.
