i think its just the fat tires that make it look that way.
i prefer tall skinny tires myself for the same reason plus they are much easier to steer with manual steering.

I seem to remember that in Oregon the state requires that no part of the tire sticks out past the body. If it does its a good excuse to be pulled over and ticketed.
If its the same as Washington then it would be 2 inches.

It appears the tires stick out much as those on my Bronco do with similar tires/wheels. Easily fixed with a (tasteful) set of flares.
It does tend to mess up the fenders and paint, but hey, Ford charges around $1200.00 extra to fake that look on the (c)Raptor :roll:
