got my new cab bushings they are prothane cab and radiator support bushings..

Hey Joe, your truck is looking great! Just curious about your front ride height - did you achieve this with just the drop beams or did you also cut the springs a little? What size tire do you have on the front?

Are those urethane bushings made for these trucks or are they a universal mount? Do they have them for a uni?

it is drop beams and brand new un-cut stock coils,

BUT, i sold my lowering kit.. im going back all original. i didnt have the heart to cut my frame...

they are made for 65-79 f100 trucks they look just like my factory bushings only perky'er lol.. the reuse the factory bolts too..

finally got my rear leaf spring bushings out!! holy crap what an ordeal!!! now its time for some nekked sand blasting!!!! ha ha ha :shock:

ok more progress!!! woohoo!

I have the whole suspension out of my truck now. i refinished the i beams and the radius arms plus i finally got the bushings out of the rear shackles. i also finished up my rear leaf springs.. now all i am waiting on to put them together is the round plastic anti squeakers, but i have them ordered and should be in this week so hopefully i can build my spring packs this weekend!! anyway heres some pics!!!

im tackling the rear end next!!! hopefully will have it refinished and next weekend. and hopefully get my leaf springs back together!

then its will be time for the cab removal!!! woohoooo lol

seems like the farther i go the more stuff i need to do!!

ok i tore the rear end apart so i can get started cleaning, pretty glad i did cause i found a wrist pin loose floating in the rear end oil..

More progress got the rear leafs done, got the real shackles done and all the anti squeekers and spring pads installed along with new spring clamps I made, sand blasted the u bolts and hardware and got them all painted and rear end is hung!! Working on backing plates now..

THANKS DUDE!! my truck will never be the quality of some but i feel great cause its me doing it.. and i will do to the best of my ability. and yes clean parts are awesome!!! lol

looks can be deceiving.. my cab was in worse shape than i thought.. lots of rust to deal with, but glad i found it now before it got to bad..

At quick glance of the pics your cab is in much better shape than most! That black goop could be tar that someone threw on it to stop the rust. It's gonna suck getting it off I'm sure...but good luck and keep on moving along...Project looks great

Thanks dude!! I found out what that black goop was.. it was windshield glue... it peeled off in one piece lol i was so glad!!! :D
