Plot:
Sam Doonby, is a happy-go-lucky drifter who takes up residence in a small Texas town but seems suspiciously immune to the misfortunes that beset the other townsfolk.

This is where being a purists pays off. How many vehicles today can be "correctly" used in a movie from a different era? Sure, the average movie goer can not tell the difference, but I can tell the difference between a period and non period wheel.

maybe it will be a stepping stone

a reality tv producer sees the movie, then next year we see "Michelle's Garage" on tv restoring big trucks. 8)
