I like the truck the way it is too!, only thing I`d change would be the front wheels width!, just to make it a bit easier to handle!. What about the old spokes on the front and solids on the rear look!

That's a good price on the slots in Kansas City. Word ofcaution on any slots. Be sure to take these and have the wheels spun before buying. One out of every 3 I've bought has turned out so baddly bent it was not usable. Also, those are the older slots made for the larger center hub of the early trucks. Takes a large cap. I have some stainless caps for some wheels I had but mine werre the smaller centers that Dodge and later Ford trucks used.

Russell, didn't you ever see cars in the 70`s with 5 spoke rims on the front and solid rims on the rear?, was a big craze here for awhile!

Mismatched front/rear wheels have sort of a "race car" look.
I remember back when it was cool to run 4" Centerlines on the front and leave the slots, Cragar SS' or what ever on the rear. It got started because 4 CLs were kinda pricey then.
Old Drag cars often ran 12 spoke spindle mounts on the front and something else on the rear (the ones like my Rodmasters with the as cast centers are my favorite).

...I also like that hidden trailer hitch on the bumper.
Cool to see that its used for a daily driver.
Nice to see a fellow slickster somewhat close. I'm down here in NW Arkansas and an old SMSU alumni (now Missouri State) from along time ago.
