Enjoying all the progress/photos. Looks great.

Could you tell us more about the pedal brackets/column mounting.
Is it a different pedal bracket (what year?) or is that a modified original??

What is the steering box from?
That may make clearance for car manifolds in a truck too.

the steering is from i believe a 66. ill double check with garbz. the big bracket is off a 4 wheel drive truck.

the pedal bracket is a modified original. i can put all of the pictures up of the steps of how we modified it. we had a few guys on the fte site asking about it.

helpme choose a color

Post by azratrod »

help me choose a color:

im getting close to shooting the cab of the truck. im not going to do anything fancy. just a suede primer look. this is a link to my buddy dougs shop here in arizona. he is one of the top painters in the country and runs an awsome new shop in chandler. i may some day put a high dollar paint job on the truck but right now i just want to enjoy it for awhile. im going to try and sweet talk bill w. into shooting the cab for me. im also thinking of doing the interior of the cab and the fire wall in a gloss white. just so there is some contrast to the flat color of everything else.

i like the way dash mirrors look on the older corvettes and tbirds. ive been thinking about doing this for a few years now. garbz and i were talking about it during one of our many drink breaks (85+ today). i pulled the mirror of the ceiling and placed it on the dash. it almost fit just right. garbz took a cut off wheel to it and this is how it sits as of now.
