2011 Slick resolution?
Put the one I already have back together.
At least I know where all the parts are.... all over the floor.

Including: Take front clip off, remove engine so I can paint it, front frame and the engine bay, add Rams Horn headers, install Mustang T-5 tranny with S10 tailshaft, Have front spring eyes reversed, Paint interior RED, Install tan (Palomino) Mustang buckets, Falcon console, tank cover.
All before Pate at the end of April. Think I'll make it? Probably not, but it's worth a shot.

Boy Jason, you got me. I couldn't figure out how I missed this post with 6 pages of replies, then it dawned on me that this thread started back in 08.
OK, so here's mine for 2011: All of the above (posted in 2010). No I didn't get it done for Pate or even Slick Stock. Revisions to the above is to put the body and frame on the rotisserie and blast and paint the underside before I reassemble the truck. Also have a new Classic Auto Air conditioner to install. Think all I need ???? now is to order new brake lines. (Edit: Did get the old rusty bolts holding the donor flareside bed to the frame cut out this afternoon. Now just have to remove it. Will probably take it apart to make it easier to store and blast for refurbishing.
Also need to get new starter on Little Red and resolve the brake light problem so I can actually drive one of my slicks.
(Edit: Got the starter back on Little Red today...she starts! Now to continue tracking down the brake light problem)
Did get the New Year off to a slick start by getting in the shop early this morning (after a few errands) and actually working on my crew cab. Got the steering column out of it, which was the remaining impediment to pulling the cab off. I now have easy access to a fork lift for my shop which will make removing cabs etc. much easier. Just have to figure out where to put it when I take it off as my storage room (which was going to be a paint booth) is already full. Next will be to blast the frame and install a CV front suspension under it, select a modular Ford engine (4.6 or 5.4) and tranny and go from there.

Well, I got a good share of 08's list done on the Uni.
So this year the list is the 64;
1. Finish the driveline - I have all the pieces but the distributor and the tranny crossmember (will make that though), and the rest of the exhaust.
2. Get the front clip back on - pieces are getting blasted & primered now.
I am going to install new insulators under the cab and in the front clip.
3. Get the roof patch in and the new windshield I have - ditch the rear slider.
4. Get the bodywork finished.
5. Start getting some color on it.

T-5 swap in the works. Carpet, finish sound deadener, stereo amp and speakers, headliner, door panels. The BIG one I'd love to do is AC, but it might have to be part of 2012's resolution.

Hey Brian, how about some more pictures of your truck? Don't think I've seen it (other than your avatar).

I also have a long list. But if I had to put a few in priority order it would go...
1. Finish scraping and cleaning frame, then paint.
2. Convert front drums to discs
3. Rebuild rear drums
Not to exciting, but reasonable I think. I'm sure the list will grow from there.

But....... with all the snow we are getting my time is pretty much spent plowing, fixing tractor, fixing tractor, plowing, plowing, plowing, fixing tractor!
If this keeps up I will have to trade the slick for a snowmobile so I can make it to town for groceries..
I simply cannot believe this much time has passed already!
New goal is to have it running and driving by first week of May.
2wks ago I started back on the body and paint. Very slow going but finally making progress. The cost of paint and materials is downright shocking...
Hopefully the doors, fenders, hood will be painted by middle of this month. Still have not fired the engine. After engine has been run and front clip is on its time to start body/paint on the box.
This is where its at right now.

Well, I think I accomplished 90% of my last year's list, so there's not a whole lot of major things to do (or that I WANT to do I should say). I think getting an electronic ignition/choke is the big project for this year. I've already started to save the money for it.

Remove the cab & bed from the frame. Store the bed & frame at a friend's barn in the country. Have the front clip & cab in sealer primer before the end of the year. Switch to the bed next year.

Put it back together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The frame is painted,
The Gibbons/cordoba IFS is in and installed
The rear is cleaned, rebuilt, painted and installed
Rear drum brakes are rebuilt and installed
Front calipers need to be touched up,installed
all brake lines need to be plumbed.
Motor is ready to go
Then I need to find the body work fairy to help me do that!
The problem is every time I log on to this site I find something else I want to do to it.
