I got to meet another member today. Larry (Ridgerunner ) stopped by today to borrow some parts to use as a pattern and while he was here he helped me work on my Uni some. We got it running and I drove it home but forgot to check the brakes , only took me a block to get stopped. Got it in the drive and we tore the carb apart several times and switched carbs a few times till we got one to stop leaking then had a heck of a time getting all the gunk out of it so it would idle and then we got one brake to work and took it for a short exciting drive up the street and back.
Thanks again Larry for all your help Today and it was great meeting you.........................Kid

Dont wory guys you can never be replaced. I told Lary the whole story, from the time we met you guys at the gas station till I had Daves second carb on my truck in KC. He got a kick out of it. Don and I were talking awhile back and were laughing about all the stuff we went through and all the stories we have to tell just because of a coupls of carbs. Looking forward to seeing you guys again next year. We should have Tee Shirts printed for the International Carb Rebuilding Team...............Kid

Good idea!, but we`d have to have the printing on the back of the shirt so people could read it!, while we are crawling around on the ground looking for springs!worship.gifKid wrote:Dont wory guys you can never be replaced.
