Well other then a light mist Fri afternoon the weather has been holding off during the day for Pate. Cloudy warm and muggy weather :)

I was surprised it held off as long as it did, it's been threatening for several days prior. Yesterday was the worst we've had in awhile. It ran us out of Pate and that wasn't too bad, but later on after the 3rd or 4th time--I got tired of getting soaked. Chris grilled up some leftover meat in the rain with an umbrella. We had all kinds of shoes, socks, clothes & sweaters laid out trying to dry. We had a Ranger game to attend (Scout night) and chose to stay home. It was a good thing--4 rain delays and the game didn't end until after midnight, the website says...
Boy Scout mom, Camp Gladiator fitness, and Running keep me busy.

Boy, did that ever change on Saturday! Wollfe, Chris W, Roger and I were huddled under Rogers pop-up (thankfully, he kept his up), standing on truck tires to keep out of the ankle deep water flowing through the parking lot and poking the roof with sticks to keep the rain from pooling on the roof and collapsing it.
Here in NE Louisiana we had 3 inches in about an hour, flooded my video studio (not too bad, just lots of stinky wet carpet). Luckily I had most everything important or electrical off the floor. The wife spent most of Sunday with towels and the shopvac.
