Power Steering
If you convert your manual steering to power steering, does the different steering gear box change the ratio so you don't have to turn the wheel so many revolutions to go around a corner?
What years you talking?
I have seen Saginaw PS boxes on ebay that have been modified to have a reduced number of revolutions "lock to lock". Stock saginaw is the same number of revolutions as manual.
That would be nice, but really, having now experienced the pleasure of POPS (plain old power steering) over POMS (plain old manual steering), I can tell you that the Saginaw box in 65-66 is really quite nice in its stock form.
