It runs a common Mustang Pan
He flipped the axles
Its a 2001 F150 seat
No clue on the headliner (forgot to ask)
Wheels are a custom offset and ar 18 and 20s respectively
Said it rides fantastic
Nice pics of that Truck Phil, did you by chance notice if them blocks on the front Axle are welded to, or just fit really neat with the U bolts? I like that idea too. I like how he did the sway bar up front also. Headliner looks like it could have been custom made at a local apholstery shop maybe?
Saw an article on how to make headliners like that in Street Rodder, it's actually pretty easy. You just cut the design from foam, contact cement it to your headliner base, and glue the fabric over it. Both layers using sprayed contact cement (the good stuff not the rattle can type).
One question, 70 camaro what? I saw a straight axle.

I made mine in a similar fashion. I used the old headliner and glued the material onto it. I actually spend about 50 bucks total, when I have it all back in ill throw up some pics

Greg, I think what he ment was that the front sway bar was from a 70 comaro!.

Yeah, 70 Camaro Sway bar up front.
Summit rear. Said he just called em and said he needed it for that particular truck and that's what he got.
I saw no sign of welding on those blocks, said he made them.
Said the wheels were custom Offset.
I told him about the site and mentioned his truck had popped up a few times.
I got his phone number but I broke my phone's screen so Ill have to see later if I have his info.
May just be the photo, but the end links on the front bar look like they are binding up. Those damn Chevy parts. I'd probably use heim joints instead. Other than that issue, that's a nicely turned out ride.

I was thinking the same. Heim joints would probably work great.

Actually considering the angle of the mounts at the shock the end link don't look too bad, probably just fine for street driving.
Interesting setup for a spring under lowering the truck, maybe I should take some measurements and see if it will work with the monoleafs. Get mt front bumper to ankle instead of shin height, lol.

i could no longer keep "r.i.p.ing" all of our fallen brothers and sisters, so i say here, slick loads of love and much respect to all you beautiful people.
perhaps I need one of them rear sump pans for my 390... it might solve my impact problems.... as it is, there must be no lowering of the truck until that is taken care of. If anything I should be putting a lift kit on the front end! haha that sucks.
and despite its origin, I think that front swaybar is the best looking setup for a straight axle I have ever seen. I wonder if the one from my cousin's 78 Malibu parts car is the same, I might have to swipe it. And get some endlinks from Autohole...

I have had that picture of that blue truck on the very bottom one saved for a long time now. I have always wanted to get the backspacing of that wheel. Is there ANY way you could find that out for me please? That back dish is exactly what I want on my 66 F100 SWB. I want 17" up front and 18" out back, not 20's since 20 is too big IMO and I like more meat on the tires instead of rubber bands.
