According to my old paint book the code is L. For lacquer 60G-7589, for synthol enamel 80G-1341. Hope that helps a little.

That gives a little more info than my 55 year old color chip book, but then they only had acrylic lacquer and synthol enamel back then. What a change in choices.

Hi guys, based on what i have found under the covers, it appears that my truck was originally Holly Green (the dark army drab) green. I am trying to figure out what interior color it is. It is a lighter green color, but i cant tell if it is the caribbean turquoise from the chart posted?

I am trying to determine what color to paint inside, i might consider going back to original color, and maybe find lighter color for lower side of dash. I think custom cabs had 2 color dash?

From the color chart posted above

I guess it could be with 50+ years of fading. Is there a different chart for interior colors? One door and dash has been repainted. It is not a custom cab, so i assume it would have been a single color on all painted surfaces. Here are a couple of shots wiith original paint.

Looking at these side by side, this does not look like carribean turqoise.

This color looks exactly like the Driftwood grey I had in my 63. The interior on mine was this grey and Rangoon red because it was a custom cab.
The months may change, but I am always APRIL

This is out of the Ford 1963 Ford Truck Book as I took a pic in which it has every spec/pic/measurement for every 1963 Ford Truck Built and Econ Van and this is the best I can get

Holly Green is M30J-1237

My truck was originally holly green, and appears that the inside was as well, and at some time someone painted the inside the lighter green, which does not look to be a standard color for 1963.

Thanks to everyone for assistance
