ALMOST FINISHED WITH MY 66 F100 CUSTOM CAB

Post by smokingninja »

hi, nice to meet everyone. i pulled the motor out of my mustang and was looking for a old beater truck to put it in. well thousands and thousands later I'm almost finished with it. its a 66f100. everything is pretty much new but the body and frame. now that I'm almost done with it i want to change so much! or just thinking i should've made different choices. here are some before and after pics. i got it from tennessee. its almost done but who knows...

Nice looking truck. How much did you lower it and what are you wheel and tire specs? Backspacing, etc?

id have to pull up my receipts. the rear end is an 8.8 and the front is a crown vic. so neither is stock for a f100. i cut a coil out of the front and used the DJM shackle lowering kit for the rear. if i keep it i may just get a mustang II front end and c notch the rear.

Thanks, me too. it came to my shop all burnt red. and i went to pressure clean it and the colors just started coming through. so if i held it in one area i could make white or black appear. i think it was originally black then white, and then red on top. so when it came time to clear coat it , it just came out fantastic. its so bright in the sunlight!
