Well, overdue to update you guys.

Last fall I worked on the bed and tailgate a bit

Then it got cold so I moved to the garage w/the engine & tranny. Got both installed in the last few months. Install new radiator and routed new lines to the transmission cooler in radiator and eliminated this old cooler/heat exchanger on the side of the tranny:

Drive train in:

I Also installed front disc brakes from speedway (no photos). Easy install and great price.

Frame/drive-train is all but done minus exhaust system, not to mention it's warmed up again so time to get back to bodywork and paint. So I built a paint booth:

With the paint booth being under my carport in the back yard, I needed a dolly for my cab with wheels that would roll in my rocked landscape, so I built one:

So that's where I'm at now...bodywork and paint should be the next updates:(

I've planned all along to install the made to fit a/c, heat & defrost system from vintage air, except each time I go to order it I talk myself out of it and keep looking around at other options. Haven't found a more economical solution yet and pretty much need to pull the trigger on it so I can modify my cab prior to paint for the new box...just hate to spend that much $ at once on this old truck.
Speaking of $$....I have purposely not kept track of the $ expended for this hobby...just thrown all the receipts in a box....well I kinda went through that box the other day...mistake!

More updates to come....

will you need to cover the floor in your paint booth. It looks like gravel? seems like you would get dust from that? Or maybe just wet it down. Just curious.

Bird55, I was thinking of at the least wetting it down, maybe even put down some old carpet And wet it down if I come across any.
