Wow, Simple Green is ridiculous...

Post by Combat_Medic »

Every hillbilly and his brother has been in and under my truck lately, and I've learned I can tell the nitwits from the good ol' boys by their reaction to my cabmounts... Having encountered significantly more of the former than the later, and realizing that I've got to get this truck sold somehow, I think I've figured out a way to make things easier for the less learned of these local yokels - illustration :)

Enter Simple Green. Being the sho-me fella that I am I really didn't think it would work like it did, but Holy Cow! I'm sure most of you have already come across this insanely miraculous product, but this post is for those of you that haven't. I'm now a believer.

Love simple green. Cleans grimey interiors, greasy oily dirty engine bays. The list goes on, good stuff

Have been using simple green for close to 30 years since I was in the Army and they went through it like crazy if you needed to wash something you washed it with simple green . The only thing better is Purple power but purple power will also remove your finger prints and all the hair outa your nose :D.

Been using it for 15 years as well in my engine rooms. Way back in my wayward young Coastie days, we do daily cleanups. To get out of doing a lot of cleaning, we used to open the passage door, squirt some in the air and done. Smells clean it must be lol. We went thru 55 gallon drums of it on my second ship. I had two ten cylinder Fairbanks Morse opposed piston engines, two GM generators and two pratt&whitney gas turbines. All smoked and leaked a lot.

Good stuff, smells good too. I'd buy a spray bottle of it and head to the speedy-wash. Take a plastic baggy along to cover my distributor on the old knuck and spray the whole bike down, then pressurewash it. Excellent results before we head off to the bars. Back in a day. Heck yeah.
