Re: 64 heater
i think you can buy the fan switch and cable but the other 2 below the dash are not available as far as i know. the knobs themselves are available but the HEAT and TEMP inserts are very hard to find used and not reproduced.
65/66 cables under the dash can be used in the 61-64 but the lengths are a bit different.
same with the 67. that was the last year for pull cables on the heaters.67 knobs are different too.

Re: 64 heater
I just purchased a new heater cable at NPD on Sunday. It is not specific for 61 - 66 as the stem is longer than stock but is a ford product. Think a few washers behind the dash should do the trick. The knob is very similar in size but has a white color in the inner section of the knob whereas the stock where all black. I'll probably just paint in order to match but as some of the members of this site have inserted items in all knobs (marbles, coins, etc) to give a custom and uniform look.

Ford Part # C7TZ-18578-F (got mine at NPD)
New cable appears about 1/2 - 3/4 inch shorter than the original (from my 64) but when you space behind the dash to offset the difference in the longer shaft on the new part think it will work. I'll be installing mine soon and if it does not work, will come back and update this thread.
