RC cars badddddd
With christmas coming I wanted to buy some things for my 2 sons. I decided to get a digital video for my 10 year old and thought about an RC car for my 7 year old. I did some research on both and wanted to get ones that are good quality. Found a great camera then went to the local Hobby store to buy a Traxxas RC. Bought a Rustler, brought it home opened it to charge battery, BAD idea, I had to drive it. HEHEHEHE fun and I did add some "patina" when jumping the street. Now I have went and bought a second one for my other son. I will give the camera to myself to video them. FYI i have the new one charged and my nephew and I will be pre testing them this weekend. Just to be sure they are ready for the kids at christmas.

Sounds like an excellent plan. Don't want to give the kids toys that don't work!

Re: RC cars badddddd
Second car runs great and I only flipped it once..............I'm getting better. More practice after a full charge.

Traxxas R/C's are great cars & trucks. I've seen them run through some crazy stuff.

Traxxas is a good way to go for a "hobby level" 1st RC car/truck.
Good support, reasonably easy to repair, upgradeable.
FAR better than one from a toy store or radio shack (no parts support, non upgradeable).
The stadium trucks are my favorite type.
I have a Losi.
Be prepared - this can get almost as expensive as a full size truck..................

Traxxas is a good one. I upgraded my little buggy to the lipo battery and wow what a difference in bat time. Next will be the brushless motor...
this thing goes fast (without the upgrades) that is for sure.
