"What's My Truck Worth?"

Post by DV65CustomCab »

I got tired of answering this question on that other site so wrote up a page for my web site. Remember, it's personal opinion, so don't be offended if I, uh, offend you.

This should be made a compulsory "Must Read" for every newbie. We should get Matt or Kid to post it as a sticky "Newbies Read this first" on the 2 main forums.

In fact there should be 3, how to add disc brakes and power steering to a straight axle and how to do the disc brake swap on a twin I (your other excellent article) should be up there too.

Very well done and consistent article Dwight, but did you eat a big bowl of Chevy Flakes before you wrote it? Lots of Stepsides and Fleetsides for an article about Fords..

(You knew you couldn't get away with at least ONE dig..) 8)

Ive reread it a few times.
I think the "problem areas" section is invaluable

You know, I honestly can't remember what the hell these truck beds are called most days. Since most of the people are already calling them by the wrong names, I really have only done it to make it more understandable to those less Canadian than some of us here. :boxing:

Hey  you watch yerself or I will sic the terminology master, FBp on you, and you won't be able to call a Unibody a unibody anymore. And he's from Florida!
Can't get much further away from Canada than there!!

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to finish my breakfast of Ford ovals! Smilie_4_Revan.gif So good! ...and good for you!!

No such thing as a unibody that has body on frame construction JC. :P
Everyone else is wrong, and I'm right, but I still call them Uni's because I'm not afraid to speak down to the peasants unlike some Rulers Of The Universe.
