Yes, I will absolutely put it back in. I'm using Mar-Hyde 2 part. They make it in smaller sizes so you can just apply it with a caulking gun. Shops that use lots of seam sealer and panel bond (like Fusor) use a much bigger size and it requires a crazy gun for that. I have one, and some 3M panel bond, I just have never needed to use it . . . .

Cool. I PM'd a guy on another forum about selling me his gun cheap when he's finished with it. That'll save me $40 alone so I can buy the good stuff for mine.

Umm! neat job,
I just noticed the indent in the centre of you roof does this only come out on the 65-66,

My '64 has the same indent.

Hey man, you made it one here. Nice. The heat is brutal here. I took like a week off and played xbox instead. Once I got motivated again, azratrod strong armed me to bring his 64 over here for body and paint. So I started on it Monday. My truck is on back burner status for the time being.
Let see some pics of that uni of yours.

61-63 flat roof 64-66 indent in center of roof . The 64-66 roofs are also taller than the 61-63.

Sorry for stealing your build thread TheOPWK, thanks for showing the way you pulled put dents ,I had a couple I could not get to ,now they are gone .

Thanks Rick, I thought my mine might be a 61 with a 64 grill,because the ribs in the back of my cab don't go all the way down,

Tiny update.
Suspension is about half way done. Front leaf packs were de-arched and the eyes reversed and put back in. Drop Axle from Sid's will ship on Monday. Rear notch and flip will be done tonight or tomorrow night. Tires showed up day before yesterday. Wheels should be done at powdercoat middle of next week. Box of parts from Mac's just showed up at my door. Truck is still in primer, but at least it will be the right height. Got 2 weeks to make it to Goodguys.

Well, I got movin.

Got the new axle from Sids. De arched the springs and reversed the eyes, flip in the rear with a small notch and full leaf packs.

Finished all the suspension last night. Doing steering and brakes tonight.

Getting tires mounted on these guys tomorrow.

Now is the time before you start running in the baked potato temps again.
Looking awesome! Can't wait to see it in paint. Did you get the wheel to go with the horn rim, and fit on the column?
I came up with a way to introduce the big wheel on my uni,floor shift column, not together yet, but I think it will blend in nice.
