Nice post, it great that you'd share such a great find. Do you know if the owner is using the internet for any sales? I saw some sweet parts on there that I'd like to get.

I love junkyards like that. During the 80's I used to live in Daytona, and there was a junk yard outside of the city that was amazing. Everything, I mean everything was there. Man I wish there were ones like that in my neck of the woods.

It is the town, the old school and several other buildings are full of car parts, there's engine blocks just laying everywhere, and the streets are lined with junk cars for the most part, haven't been there to look for any slick parts but tempted now that this got me thinking, I've been there for other parts

I have more slicks at my house

Post by okiewelder »

I think I have more than he does but, not selling any parts off.
Can you send me directions to it I would like to go by and see it.
Yea George that owns the junk yard in roosevelt is a awesome guy I have been buying stuff since 82 for him when he was just a worker. He has worked his ass of over the years to get where he is. He usually doesnt keep or get much old stuff anymore. Most of that stuff was crushed years ago.

I live around blanchard and go over every month or so if any of you okc guys what to go just give me a holler and we can set it up.

rusty unibody body

Post by okiewelder »

I have a rusty body that I need to get out of my shop. My wonderful wife purchased it for me when I was on a Navy deployment. I think I have had it since 03 or so. Does anyone around here need any bed panels or parts like that?
I could use the tail light housings if I cut it up.
Anyway holler back and lets get this junker our of my shop!!!
