I don`t want to get picky or anything!, But!, The back strap!, it is there to hold it up or down?, the back window must be made out of steel! and the front wheel looks to be at normal ride height!, with all that weight on the front it should be up in the guard.

I thought the same thing at first! However, there is a strap hooked on the window frame of the truck, passing through the open front windows of the car (around the a-pillars), that appears to be doing the majority of the work. The back strap is probably just there to keep it from bouncing, but I suspect it's largely decorative.

I think the subframe is bottoming out on the bed rails, hence the reason the front suspension isn't fully compressed. And the dents in the bed would help keep it wedged in.

That being said, it still seems too ridiculous to be genuine (had to check the date on the news item Ice posted to make sure it wasn't from April 1st). I'd still like to see a high-res version. ;)

How is destroying the bed of the truck cheaper and more convenient than renting a trailer?

1. who cares, its a chevy

2. maybe the guy lives in in of those horrible places they dont allow extra cars, and he had no cash and had to get rid of it "today" or face fines he could not pay. conspy.gif

3. the truck is junk too and he was planning on dropping off both at the salvage place. :dontknow:

just a few that came to the top,

Good points. Now that I think about it, there's a possible #4. Maybe that truck is dedicated to hauling junk cars in the exact same manner, meaning this wasn't the first time he tried it. ;)
