I have officially made it back to Texas
I arrived back home this past Tuesday afternoon. The LTL drives out real nice. it has good tight steering a a tight front end. The 400 Cummins runs strong and is very dependable. The thirteen speed shifts very smooth. The truck seems to be very solid. I am stretching it out and adding air ride to it for improved ride and to make room for a 60 inch sleeper. The fuel mileage wasn't bad either at 10 1/2 MPG. I have already scored some good parts for it. I have found a rear cut off with air ride and Rockwell rears off a 94 LTL. I also found NOS door rubbers for both doors and window channels, Division bar window channel and anti rattle felt for both doors. Today I am in Houston and went to my favorite truck slavage yard and found the coveted Ford brand engine oil temp, transmission temp, fwd. rear end and back rear end temp gauges and sending units. These are extreamly hard to find in the junk yards. These are easy to find in the Petes and KWs and are usable in the Fords but do not match the other Ford gauges. I will now have all matching Ford gauges.

Glad your back, from wherever you've been
. Guess I missed the LTL conversation. Can you catch an old man up? Guess I was napping at the wrong time. Maybe a link?

I don't know what these things usually go for, but it seems like a good price to me.? A lot of truck for not too much money.

jason, i've spent hundreds of hours on a 6000 row cropper and loved that tractor. big diesel with lots of power and never a problem. i can't tell from that pic, but the front one is smaller, 3000 or 5000? and appears to be gas? great tractors.
always
