Has anyone subscribed to the magazine. I would like to know if it is worth the $ before I give it a try.

I have bought a couple of issues. I like it due to it being Ford truck only and I do not have to thumb through all the Chebby to see something relivent to me. One issue had a great article on ungrading the 300 6 engine.
Subscription is like 15 for 4 issues which seems high but since it has only had 5 issues? I plan to subcribe soon.

I've subscribed since issue #1. It really is a joy to read a magazine without all the Brand X stuff littering the pages. It's fairly grassroots with good how-to content but it's also a bit amateurish in production; I find a lot of spelling errors and things but in a way it almost adds to the charm of it. When you consider the cost per issue vs actual Ford content compared to the other magazines out there it actually is a much better value. I've really enjoyed every issue and there's usually been something Slick related every time.

I like it a lot, for the reason posted by the guys above. It's the only truck magazine I ever had a subscription for.
I think I got 4 of them. I wonder if my sub expired and I didn't notice....?
It's a race.. Will hell freeze over or will JC finish his truck first. Stay tuned..

I subscribed at the second issue - bought a back copy of the first issue at the same time. Good magazine, well written, good pictures, good tech even if it weren't Ford only.
I still get Custom Classic Trucks also.

That's because its for enthusiasts BY enthusiasts.

The editors of that great mag were all hitting the tarp that we laid out as a slip and slide at their first annual show back in September - after it rained all day, we decided to make the best of it and play in the rain. They're great guys and are really involved in making it better.

Right now they're out at Sema in Las Vegas promoting True Blue as well as their other mag Bronco Driver.

If you write an article and send good pics, they will run it. I've written for him for a couple years. I'm friends with Tom, John and Dan.

So yeah, I get True Blue and Bronco Driver. 8)

Sounds interesting. Anyone have contact info, or do I just google it?
By the way, my current favourite is Vintage Truck, well worth every penny of my subscription.

I have been buying them at the newsstand but I just put in my subscription online. It has been a good read with little to waste.
Maybe we can get some of these front end swaps in the mag soon.

I'm getting ready to put power disc brakes on the '66 and hope to remember to take notes and good pics so it can run in the mag.
