Getting our Slicks ( and other Classice ) out of storage
Well I will be getting my 65 out of storage soon. Who else will be getting their Trucks and other Classics out from their Winter Slumber. I am ready to have mine back out and running. One of the Guys in my Office asked me why I havent been driving my old Truck and did not understand when I told him it was all tucked away, he thought it would get around better in the snow and ice than my car and I just laughed...........kid

Can't wait for it to be nice enough to take the 85 out. Will be nice to get the 05 cleaned up real god and hve it stay that way for more than 15 minutes too. Good weather brings thoughts of bringing a new Slick home too!

Yep soon it will be time to pull the uni out of it's winter hibernation in the back yard.[albumimg]1630[/albumimg] Think I will look in to some classic car insurance for it this year. It's gonna cost me this time to put Ol' Jinx on the road, have to do some stuff that.s been neglected too long. Oil leaks, idler arm, rear end leak and u-joints.. prolly in the neighbourhood of a grand to get 'er the way I want 'er this year.
I think I can wait some more.

It's a race.. Will hell freeze over or will JC finish his truck first. Stay tuned..

my 66 was not in storage, just resting comfortably under some snow.i started it up the other day and drove it up to the post office and dmv.first ride this year, sure was nice to drive it again. i think this was the longest it sat since i got it done a few years ago.
soon it will be time to work on the project trucks again.

Hope to be mobile in a few months. Baby is due in June so garage time will get minimized in a hurry. Already getting the hint that the house, fence, etc needs painting.
Update, box is back off and am installing ladder bars. The leaf spring floaters are in and look good. Front fenders and rad are in. Fenders just need aligning. Just the dreading wiring left.....

cheak it out guys,,, I'm the only one in my town that has a slick!! as a matter of fact the only one on my rez!! kinda cool,, she is in the garage now but the weather is lookin good time to wake her up, she sure attracts attention
and is always gettin offers, kinda gives a guy a big head, I just got some new 15/10 chrome rims for her! gonna put some 275/60/15's on her too, hopin to get some paint soon, need a gun too but with every project the stuff takes time,, and money, beer, babysitter, blah blah blah,

Going down to start my 65 and let it run awhile. Got to take a air tank with me as it had a flat tire ( I don't know why but the right rear tire will stay up and hold air pressure for Months then it will go flat overnite ). I am ready to get it out and be driving it again, would probably take it out tomorrow for awhile but we took most of the Insurance off it for the winter while it is stored..I am envious of you guys who get to drive your Classics all Year round...........Kid
