hey ya'll i just acquired a 62 swb stepside with 223 & mt. it's an ex forestry truck.
been sitting a while but is fairly solid, old 6 runs pretty good, may need carb.

welcome from centeral florida. looks like a good solid start will make a fine looking slick.

I used to haul quick lime out of calera back to fl. a few years ago. nasty bussiness but made good money at the time.

That is my dad's 46 chebby 2 ton. it's got less rust than my 62 it came from Faith, SD.

me too... :) it has one spot under the left headlamp that needs attention . i'm thinking of chroming it.

It's a tough decision, the 223 does run good but, i do have a sweet stock 65 289. either engine will retain 3 on the tree.

i am going to put on disc brakes on the front for sure.
i'd like to lower it at least 3 inches, maybe 4.
