This morning deivered some of our sheet metal to a customer in Pa. building a 66 F-600 all wheel drive powered by a 460 sitting on 8:25x20" rubber, this truck is sitting very high & looks like it could pull anything down it had to ,all military front & rear ends, frame shortend to go with a stock long bed from a 66 pickup, He showed me the picture of what it looked like 25 years ago & what a change, he has the factory hood scoop so he said will hook up also, Painting is going to be Caterpillar yellow & black... Anyway it just shows that pickups are not the only ones being built in the 61-66 class, that big trucks & the N-Series are being done It's really nice that once in awhile I can see some of these trucks, 3rd truck in 3 weeks that I saw that where 4x4 material

If you plant a yard, they'll tax the grass.

Yes that's me. I live off the nuangola exit. there's also the dorrance exit. Not sure the numbers. Was it a business? If you speak to him again pass along that another slicker is in the area.
It will not be this color combo forever. I plan to paint the wheels fire engine red to offset with the canary yellow and tang orange flames.
Nice Flames,,, we got off the Dorrance Exit, Next time I talk to him or send him something I will print these pages so he could get on this site, He does some kind of construction work....

Thanks, The PO did a nice job on the paint just not my style. I gag when I look at it, but its got real good metal.
Wifey wants aqua/white
I have a set of 8 lug slots I'm puttng on soon and then I'll decide color. not sure aqua/white will look right with slots. May go or flat black or start a new trend and go flat maroon.
For a look at what a stock turquoise/white 66 with aluminum slots looks like, go to www.badgerlandf100s.com . Look at the photos of the 17th Dash to the Dells (2006). There is a nice 66 there that was one of the feature trucks for 2006, the 40th anniversary for the 66.
If you drove a Ford, you wouldn't need a good wrench!

maybe a series of 10 per side wide purple stripes would give it the genuine
"Easter egg" look.
I had a factory taped truck I called the easter egg truck, not far off that color scheme. I HATED that truck.
It's a race.. Will hell freeze over or will JC finish his truck first. Stay tuned..
Norville,
tell me some more about that yellow truck.
I built one a few years ago the same color but the flames were blue.
Does it have a gas tank under the bed?
I wonder if it was my old one.
sure looks like mine.
how long have you had it?
