Re: Anybody done a C.V. swap with big wheels on a 65?
I stayed in the stock center location. I'm having no issues rubbing. Would I do things different? You know, its a cheap way to go to independent suspension, easy to install and handles awesome, but cambers bad when bagging. I would run it again on another slick but probably won't bag it.

I have a 65 with cv front-end bagged. I was running 22" wheels with rubber bands no problem but I took out fender wells. Now I'm running 18" wheels with a bigger tire. Still no problems. I'll have to look on mine tomorrow for the tire size.

Re: 62 shorty uni street rod build
what tires and wheels are you running on it. I done the cv swap on my 65 and bagged it. Anyways, I'm running 18" wheels and when I raise it up I'm rubbing the fenders. All the way aired up I sit about the height your truck sits now. I guess I'm gonna have to keep trying different offset wheels.

Re: Crown vic frontend swap
Been real busy at work lately but I have got some work done on my slick. I have since tore all the way down to the bare frame for final gussets and welding. Bought another 65 for the cab today. My cab is pretty rusty so I found one with hardly no rust at all. Also purchased a stainless steel tilt st...

newbie from louisiana
Hi guys. New here to the site. Thought i would start a project post. I bought this 65 about a year ago. Have since put a 2003 crown vic crossmember in, flipped the rear axle, and added a 302 with a 5 speed out of a 95 ford truck. Really look forward to sharing and learning things on this site.
