Installed a new heater core.
Replaced the seat belts.

Little over 3000 miles.
But I just bought my truck near the end of July

Looking forward to some ideas also.

My 66 has no dash cut out for a radio. So I guess I'll have to fab up something.

The SCV does provide manifold vacuum from under the throttle plates and also a port above the plates it provides carb vacuum. I've been trying to educate myself on these.
They seem simple enough.

Another reason I am asking is because My son also has a '66 truck, with a 240 and a Load-o-matic distributor. But he has the carb with the SCV on it. I have not been able to get it to run properly. It will start and idle just fine, It will also accelerate from an idle okay. But from a cruising speed...
