When I painted mine I used some of that VHT High Heat paint. What I did was glass bead headers to get all paint off. Then made sure not to touch clean headers with greasy hands. Hung up the headers and using a Torch heated them up not really flaimng hot but hot and used about 3 cans on each header.Y...
